Does A Small Circular Patch Of Dry Skin On The Thigh Need Medical Attention?

Hi, I have a small circular patch of dry skin on my upper thigh, the exact size and shape of a pencil eraser. It does not itch or burn, however when I put slight pressure on the area it feels thinner than the surrounding skin. I have tried moisturizing lotions and oils but it hasnt helped for the last two weeks, is this something I should get checked out?
