Does Absence Of Periods Cause Bloated Stomach?

I have a special needs daughter who s 38 years old. She has been on alot of medications for some years andhas not had a period for around 7 years. Her stomach is very extended and looks like she is 9 months pregenent. I have addressed this for some years and no one knows why.
