Does Alcohol Consumption Affect The Bilirubin Levels?

Hello sir ,
My bilirubin reached 17 a month before now its 2 .
I do drink and smoke but since i suffered from this problem ..
I stopped it...and i am also taking precautions regarding my diet ...
So after how many months i can have alcohol ..
There would be any problem or not i am a bit confused...
I have a doubt that i may be suffering from alcoholic liver disease but i started consuming alcohol only 3 years ago that to in limited amount
