Does Alcohol Intake Affect The Recurrence Of Seizure Attacks?

HI, so i am an 18 year old female and i have epilepsy. I've had three grand mal seizures in the span of a year year but they are under control now, haven't had one in almost a year and a half. I've been told many times not to drink alcoholic beverages or limit it to maximum 2 drinks within a couple hours a day else Im at a high risk of a withdrawl seizure. In my case though I have drank well over the point of being drunk and have not experienced any seizures from the drinking. Does that mean alcohol doesn't affect me?
