Does Bilateral Polycystic Ovaries Increase Weight?

Hi I have regular periods past few months it is getting delayed by a week. I got a scanning done and the report says as Bilateral polycystic ovaries does it put on weight as iam not able to reduce my weight after my pregnancy....... Please let me know what iam supposed to do
