Does Bronchitis Cause Bloating Or Stomach Distention In Abdomen?

Is it possible to have bloating or stomach distention in upper abdomen because of bronchitis or its treatment? I was using promethazine for the cough as I'm allergic to everything else plus ibuprofen. Was so sick so wasn't getting much exercise. Have been ill for 10 days. Strep throat was treated with doxycycline and doctor thought that was cause of bloat and upper stomach pain. Went of doxy 2 days ago. Started breathing exercises last nite and am noticing a slight reduction in bloat/stomach distention.
