Does Calcification Cause Painful Breast?

Dear Doctor, I have very painful right breasts and mammography shows no lumps, but scanning shows an area of inflammation. The mammography says that it could be calcification. What is it and have I to worry about it as the breast is very sensitive. Mrs. Swamy
