Does Chronic EBV Cause Extreme Fatigue?

I came down with mono ten years ago. That carried on as chronic ebv. I am 57 years old and am still fatigued quite often, especially when my labor-intensive profession demands that I exert myself. Is my fatigue due to my getting older or is it likely due to or exacerbated by the virus?
