Does Cramps While Menstruation Indicate Miscarriage?

Hey, me and my boyfriend had sex on april 9th (we did use condoms)... I was supposed to get my period on april 18th.. which I missed so the next day I did a home pregnancy test and it came out positive... but 5 days after that I got my period or what I thought my period was... I had cramps and I bled for 5 days straight... I took a pregnancy test again 2 days ago and it still says positive... Is this normal? or did I have a miscarriage?
