Does Discolouration Of Toenails Indicate Hypothyroidism?

My feet and hands are always cold. My mom thinks I have athletes foot from discoloration in my toenails so we have been using cream and powder. We also think that I have hypothyroidism. A little bit ago, my mom was poking my toes with a pen and found out that I have reduced sensation in my toes. Do you have any tips/suggestions?
