Does Displacement Of Nexplanon From Injection Site Cause Its Malfunction?

I have recently had nexplanon inserted into my left arm as contraception. It has since been victim of my dog's claw snagging it and has also travelled down my arm about half an inch from the injection site. Am I at risk for my implant not functioning properly?
