Does Duloxetine Help With Depression? If So, How Long Does

Does duloxetine help with depression? If so, how long does it take to kick in. I was on Sertraline for over 14 years, but went to doctor to see if I needed to change since I was experiencing sadness that would not go away for several days. I started the Duloxetine about two days ago and began to decrease the Sertraline a few days (3-4) eariler. AS of today I taken 3 duloxetine caps ( one daily at bedtime) . I am feeling sad today and was wondering how long does it take for the Duloxetine to take affect. I am taking 30 mg. Does Duloxetine help with body pain particularly of the hand and knee joints. I have had bilateral knee replacement 03/30/2015, but experiencing more of muscle tightness and soreness.
