Does Enema On The Vocal Cords Cures By Itself?

Hi, I went to see an ENT consultant for a vocal fold check up as I've been coughing quite a bit recently. I use my voice a lot professionally - both speaking and singing - but I haven't experienced any voice problems and people around me tell me there is no difference in my sound (apart from the coughing obviously). The ENT told me it was probably reflux (which has actually been hinted at before) and gave me medication for that and the coughing is about to go away after two weeks. But he also said I had a very small enema on one of my vocal cords but that I didn't have to bother about it at all and could sing and speak as usual. But it still worries me. Will it go away by itself when the irritating coughing stops?
