Does Fatty Liver Condition Lead To Pain In Lower Right Side Of Rib?

I am 58 yo male and have been in the past that I have a fatty liver. I have a history of alcoholism and drink liquor 1 to 2 bottles a week. Recently, I have been having a pain upon contact while lying on my right side. The pain is in my right side around the lower part of the rib cage and it is not related to indigestion or bowel.
