Does Fibroid Problem Causes Miscarriage?

ive had 3 misscarrieges and everytime baby growth and heart beat stops at 7th week.im having pcos and an intramural fibroid in the posterior wall . around 1.6*1.9 cm . now my doctor says go for surgory to remove the fibroid. im confused and frustrated .plz guide me
