Does Fluid In Mastoids Affect Vision?

I have had diplopia for a couple of months I have had an mri recently that was normal accept for fluid behind my mastoids I have been referred to a neurologist but was wondering if the fluid in the mastoid could affect my vision i have alot of ringing in my ear and am going for a hearing test
