Does Foot Corn Cause Numbness?

Hi,My toe, left foot, next to little toe has a corn. Sometimes after being active that foot seems to go a little numb, and it seems it radiates from the corn area. Is that normal? Is there a nerve it is bugging? Anyone else have problem like that? Thanks
