Does Getting IUD Affect Liver Or Spleen After Suffering From Mono?

Yes, thank you. My daughter is 19 years old and will be getting married in May. She is not sexually active, and has never had a baby. We are considering the IUD for her birth control while she finishes college. In December, she was diagnosed with Mono. She is getting better every day, but it can take a few months to feel 100%. Will the IUD cause any problems to her liver or spleen which can be affected by the Mono? Should we wait longer to try the IUD. Any input would be helpful.
