Does Graves Disease, Cause Burning Sensation In Neck?

Since this summer I have been getting burning sensations in my neck on and off. I feel fine most of the time. Then out of the blue I may get a little throb and burning in my neck. This has increased over the last month. I was told recently by my doctor I have Grave's Disease and I am taking betta blocker and PTU. Would this have anything to do with my neck?
