Does Hard Tissue Blocking Vaginal Opening Indicate Cyst?

I m on birth control pills, sexually active with one partner, I think I had thrush as I was getting a white curd like discharge and was very itchy. I then noticed that there is a hard form of tissue blocking my vaginal opening I can t get a tampon in because the opening is too tight and very painful. Is it a cyst ?
