Does Having Candy And Water After HIDA Scan Affect The ER Rate?

I had a HIDA scan and after the first 60 minutes, the tracer wasn t moving into the small bowel. The tech had me walk around and said ok to me having a small piece of candy and about 4 oz of water. About an hour later, the scan picked up the tracer, so they proceeded with CCK injection. My EF was 35% with NO mention at all of the delay from GB to small bowel. My question is, could the candy or water have affected the EF rate since it was only 1% off from an abnormal rate?
