Does Heavy Menses Result In Breaking Hymen?

hi, i am 24 years, virgin. since iam 13 till now i used to get heavy period and rarely to have irrigular period. i got spots of light brownish discharage for 3 days and then started to bleed. it seems like a period coz i have the same pain in back. Amonth a go i started to take iron tablets due to Anemia and stopped them for some days !!!. i really wonder if i get my period after 15 days of the last one, although i always have a gap of 26 days fro the next one. i thought i meight get an injury or something like that as the spotting was very light red and after that startting to get mor sticky and abit darker. another question please which i really important....do strong heavy menses have something to do with breaking hymen?!! plus itching problem and washing that area with water just for cleansing affect the one's hymen?
