Does High Uric Acid Level In Blood Cause Itching Without Rashes?

I am a male, aged about 42 years , having high blood pressure and taking ZOREM LT for it and since last two months i have itching all over my body without rashes. On visit to my family physician she gave me some anti allergic tablets for 10 days , after taking medicines my itching was completely gone but resurfaced after discontinuing medicines. then she told me to check my blood sugar which is normal but i have high uric acid level in blood and started taking zyloric , is the itching due to high uric acid pls suggest
