Does Insertion Of Mirena Coil Cause Weight Gain?

I got the mirena coil in yesterday I had been on minulet pill for 23yrs I had a mild stroke & my cardologist advised me to go off pill I m 40yrs old 8 stone read some reviews on coil am worried of getting pregnant & also putting on weight as some reviews I read said you can put on weight can you please ease my Mind many thanks
