Does Intake Of Ibuprofen And Arnica Post Surgery To Repair The Labrum Delay The Healing Process?

My 16 year old just had surgery to repair his labrum in his shoulder. I was giving him ibprophen and arnica to help his healing. Then I found out that he needed the inflammation to help with the healing and for it to reattach and heal properly. I gave it to him for a week after surgery. I stopped as soon as I found out. Could I have caused any problems with his shoulder healing properly.
