Does Intake Of Minigynon Cause Delayed Periods?

Hi. I recently stopped my regular contraceptives over six months ago. I had sex with my boyfriend 1 week ago. We used a condom, but I had no access to emergency, contraception. So a friend (midwife) recommended a high dose of a combined OCP (minigynon). Took 4 tabs just under 96 hrs after the event, and another 4 tabs 12 hrs later. We had sex at the beginning of week 3 - 4 of my menses. My period usually occurs by day 28 to day 30 of my menses. Any thoughts about my risk of getting pregnant? Any ideas about my period s timing?
