Does Light And Short Period While UPT Is Negative Indicate Pregnancy?

I am wondering if I am pregnant. I had a period but it only lasted one day and the is NOT normal for me, I am use to having any where from 2-4 days and it was light. I took a home pregnancy test and it came back negative. I am having nauseous feeling, I am tried some smells and food are starting to make me sick, also i am starting to has lots of gas, this so not normal for me. Please help
