Does Medication For Baldness Cause Itchyness?

Hi I have the male pattern baldness and have started using Mintop 10 from Dr Reddys for past 1.5 months upon prescription from my Dermatologist. Initially I had no itchy sensation on my scalp but after using it for nearly a month I am feeling really itchy on the scalp. Why is this happening now and should I continue the medication?
