Does Multi Level C Spine Degeneration Lead To Shortness Of Breath?

I suffer from severe fatigue, weakness, dizziness, nausea but my main concern is that when I strain my arms, especially by using them chest high or above; I become severely short of breath with quick onset. My heart starts racing, I feel dizzy, and when I lower my arms they become numb. I ve just been diagnosed with bilateral peripheral neuropathy, multi-level c spine degeneration with marked right foraminal narrowing, diffuse posterior disc osteophyte complex to c5-c6. I do not have any conditions that would normally cause Peripheral Neuropathy. I did have aggressive chemotherapy and head and neck radiation in 1999. I m generally a strong, healthy lady but the shortness of breath that occurs so quickly when straining my arms is so debilitating. I had a steroid injection to c5-c6 3 days ago. Is sob common with c spine degeneration?
