Does Neck Brace Alleviate Pain Due To Osteoarthritis?

I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my neck and have been having quite severe migraine head aches for a long time now I hear crunchy noise from my neck area so much so I won't move my head much My doc. says to risky to operate wondered if a neck brace might help me Oh and also living with diagnosed Rheumatoid arthritis for well over 50 years
