Does Neuropathy In Diabetic Cause Severe Body Pain?

I am a diabetic, under control, however, I have severe pain throughout my body -- and yes, I do have neuropathy, but would that cause be such pain and inability to walk or stand for more than a couple of feet or a few seconds? Or to feel like my bones are burning?
