Does Pain In The Hamstring Post Injury Need Medical Attention?

I slipped on the ice last week. I didn t fall, but my left leg slid forward. Now I m having pain in my hamstring (back of leg). When I sneeze or cough, I feel like I want to cry. When I m sleeping and move a certain way it wakes me up. I ve been doing Advil (600 mg.) every 6-8 hours and I ve tried to ice it twice a day. Time to see my physician or give it a few more days?
