Does Penile Erection Cause Any Harm While Recovering From Circumcision?

I was circumcised over a week ago and have struggled with erections, some lasting for quite sometime. There's a tingling pain and very slight bleeding from the wound. I have refrained from sexual activity and am worried that i will become erect more often as a result. Will it damage the healing process?
