Does Perforated Appendix Cause Infertility In A Woman?

I had a preferated appendix when I was 7mth pregnant I was so sick I had an n.g tube and was on a lode of medication . This happend 5 years ago so we have been trying for a baby for 2.5 years and nothing then told my doctor about what happend she stopped Clomid pill and got some tests done when I went to the hospital I had this op done I asked why was I not told about it causing infertility and I was told we don t tell people because it only happens 1or2% of people surely a woman age 32 on her first child in a maternity hospital should be made aware of this it now 5 years on and I m told I have to have I.v.f .what are your thoughts on this
