Does Picking Nose Daily Cause Pain And Blood Stain In Nose?

My daughter does nose picking by using her finger when she sits ideal and says she is she is cleaning her nose. And she says morning nose slightly pains and some slight of blood stain will appear in the morning. Is this is because she picks her nose daily?
