Does Popping The Bump Post Bcg Vaccination In An Infant Cause A Scar?

My baby is almost 6 weeks old. She received her bcg vaccination in hospital on day 2. The nurses told is there would be a skin reaction but said to leave it alone and NOT pop it. Last night my husband accidentally popped it while bathing her, and now it has made a scab. Wil it leave an ugly scar now?
