Does Prolonged Coughing And Breathing Trouble Indicate Pneumonia?

Bronchitis or pneumonia...I got really sick on January 4, symptoms quickly went from chills & fever to severe caughing then chest and lund pain, I m talking if felt like some hit me with a bat..I could barely breath because it hurted...I was prescribed Zitromax after xrays came back fine...But I was no where fine and they had to give me two asthma treatments to open up my air way to breath better.. eventually after taking the antibiotics, I did feel better and the pains in my chest and long went away but my breathing still does not feel right and I m still caughing alot, when I give in, It takes me a while to stop..it s been more than a month, but i m concerned about the caughing...could it have been that I had a pneumonia and still do????
