Does Prolonged Intake Of Regesterone Cause Any Side Effects During Conception?

Hello Doctor,I have a history of irregular periods since start of them.. Waiting for them to get regular but they never did and finally we consult gyne s and other specialist and they all advise after marriage this problem will get resolve and advised to take Tab. Registron 5mg accordingly to my cycle every month to get my periods and I am doing the same to get my periods every month. My height is 5 3 and weight 63Kg and age 28 years before 6 months I got married and having a healthy sex life but to avoid pregnancy I am not taking any protection he is doing his on part on this through condoms but I am taking regularly Registeron 5 to get my periods. Now my concern is in future is I am able to get pregnant naturally if i am ovulating through Medication and how should I have tab to find out if i am pregnant on not? And I am taking this medicine from last 8-9 years will it effect in way to get pregnant? The flow in menstrual cycle is reduced competitively from the last 5 years or back?Please advise.Sonal
