Does Quitting Smoking Causes Spotting After Sex?

Hi, I just quit smoking 3 days ago. The first day I had sex with my boyfriend and I didnt get my period but I spotted. The same thing happened again 2 days later. I'm wondering if maybe this is a side effect from quitting smoking or if there is a possibility that I am pregnant??? Thanks
