Does Scratches From Lizards Cause Infections?

I bought a lizard today and when I got home and handled him his claws scratched me producing a small cut and it bled slightly. What are the chances that I could obtain hep c, if the employee who handled the lizard or another customer held it, was scratched? I m worried that blood from another potential hep c host could have been on the claw...is this something to get checked or to be concerned about?
