Does Sexual Intercourse Before A Pap Smear Impact Its Outcome?

In 2009 while i was pregnant i had a pap that came back abnormal because of hpv. following with a colpuscopy. since then ive been back every 6 months and they have all been clear. However, my recent one came back very abnormal and im scheduled for another colpuscopy. i am so puzzled how this can happen if the rest of my paps were clear.

NOTE: EVERY DAY for about 4 days sometimes twice a day before my pap ive had a lot of intercourse with my husband. is it possible at all that all the sex has made my pap look abnormal. i also had sex the night before my pap.
