Does Skipped Periods Indicate Early Stage Of Perimenopause?

hi, i am 43 years old and experienced skipped periods in the last few months, skipping one month or two at the time. i skipped january but i have a long lasting period that started on feb 24 (very light more intense last week and very light again this week like "leftovers") i have always been regular until mid year last year which was very stressful...this has been twelve days. i had a full routine obgyn exam five weeks ago with ultrasound and all results were perfect. is it an early stage of premenopause ?
