Does Swelling And Bruising In Ankle Post Knee Fracture Need Medical Attention?

I inured my knee almost 2 weeks ago. X-rays show a fracture, and I m still waiting on an MRI. My calf muscle cramps up really bad when ever I stand up and my ankle is swollen and bruised. I haven t been treated because I m waiting to get the MRI. I m very concerned about the pain in my calf and the swelling and bruising in my ankle and I can t get a hold of my doctor to ask him, should I go to the emergency room?
