Does Taking Amphetamines Cause False Positive For Drug Test?

My 17 year old son is in a Military Academy and they drug tested him. He peed hot for amphetamine. He doesnt take any prescribed medications. He has acute asthma and has been suffering minor attacks while running sprints during baseball practice. His teammate has a Proair HFA inhaler (albuterol sulfate). Has that ever been known to cause a false positive for amphetamines on a urine drug screen?
