Does Taking Propranolol Cause Weight Gain?

Is weight gain a standard side effect of taking propranalol? My weight has been progressively rising, and is now refusing to budge despite severe dietary changes, much more exercise - I even gained a pound after fasting for 2 days. I ve been an athlete all my life and so have always been in tune with my weight and body, but it s not out of my control.
