Does Taking Valpros Acid Along With Kepra Affect Memory?

Good morning Doctor, my daughter is taking now Valpros Acid 500mg. coupled with Kepra 500mg too. to stop her seizures. Taking this medicine for a long period of time, does this affect her thinking or memory or does this medicine create side effects if taken for a long period of time?
