Does Taking I-pill Before Sex Provide Protection Against Pregnancy?

Hi, I have had sex with my wife day before yesterday and she took an ipill yesterday (after 30 hrs) today again we have sex and didn't take any protection. My question is will the ipill work for two different days? I mean within 3 days we have two times sex and she took it on the 2 nd day. Is it safe for her or what should I do for her? We are not planning a child now.
