Does The IUD Cause Spots On The Face?

I am 31 years old, 5ft 9 and weigh 13.5 stone. 2months ago i had the copper coil fitted and prior to that was on the injection (for 18 mths). I have noticed a change to my skin on my face. I have spots on my cheeks and the surrounding area looks a red colour. I am concerned as i have never suffered with bad skin. Could this be my hormones ?
