Does The Change In Menstruation Cycle Affect The Ovulation Date?

I stopped taking my birth control to start my period early (my gynocologist told me it is a low enough dosage that it shouldn't do any harm)... and then started back on it recently, but my boyfriend slipped up and went in me after 2 days of being back on the pill. Am I still safe after messing up the pills? Because I know typically women ovulate between 11-21 days after their periods, but I didn't know if changing the cycle would effect that?? I just need to know if I need to take plan B
