Does The Intake Of Female Contraceptive Pill Cause Skin Pigmentation?

Does taking the female contraceptive pill cause skin pigmentation? I have skin pigmentation on my upper lip, chin and at the top of my cheek bones. I have stopped taking the pill a few months ago (after being on it for about 4 years) and now I am wondering if it is possible to be rid of the brown pigmentation marks and if it was the pill that caused it.
